Reichenbach. At Orba-Lift Reichenbach, 80 employees build up to 120 elevators every year. From the kitchen lift to robust goods lifts to the already representative panorama glass lift, everything is included. “The order situation is stable, we had a good start to the year. Of course, the award now makes us proud,” says Annette Gey, the commercial director of the medium-sized company, and laughs. The Association for Elevator Technology (VFA), based in Hamburg, sweetened the Vogtländer’s good start into the year with a congratulatory letter delivered yesterday: The VFA draws Orba-Lift using the example of an Orba elevator that has now been installed at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Academy Westerham near Munich with the title “Elevator of the Month”.

Top survey values for safety

An honor that not only applies to the special Orba product refers, which was the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle for the modernization of the academy building towards the accessibility of the facility. “With this award, we want to make the general public more aware of medium-sized companies in elevator construction and also point out our high safety standards. This is also an important contribution to the safety of the elevator. A compliment that goes down well with Orba. “This appreciation is good. We are always working to be up to date in every respect. We are also well positioned in terms of innovation,” says Annette Gey.
